Jamesina Henderson's Album: Wall Photos

Donald and I were married for twenty years. We experienced our young adulthood triumphs together.

Most importantly, the birth of our children, Dax and Shasta, who we are fortunate enough to know as adults, to appreciate their magical gifts and aspirations. Donald and I have been so very proud of them.

Donald was a Renaissance man who had many talents, broad interests, a pioneering spirit and most significantly loved his patients and assuring their highest quality of care.

In addition to being an excellent diagnostician, his public health interests propelled him early in his career to find novel ways to impact the broader community through his participation in the radio program, Health is Wealth, and as an officer with the Charles R. Drew medical society.

He was a founding partner of the West Gastroenterology Group and was instrumental in the planning and acquisition of the Western Park Hospital.
His remarkable trail blazing presence in the National Television program, Group One Medical was clear evidence of his many capabilities.

His interest in building projects and architecture resulted in his development of the blueprint and building of our home in Brentwood Park. Donald was funny and fun loving as a result we entertained with great pleasure numerous family, friends and associates along with many of their children in our home.

Donald was one of a kind, mentor/friend to many and beloved by our family, his extensive family and many more.

We loved him dearly.
