Jennifer Brown's Album: Wall Photos

I’m so sad that Mouse is gone. It’s clear that he connected to so many of us in similar ways - what an amazing spirit. From watching the wonderful tribute to his life and reading these posts I feel connected to all those who loved Mouse and grieve his loss.

We were all so lucky to have him in our lives, and for that I’m grateful. But, it still seems terribly unfair. Jo and Mouse were planning to visit me in Maine. They were both due for a well-deserved vacation and I couldn’t wait to see them. I had scenic drives and hikes planned, but mostly I was looking forward to just hanging out and spending time with them both. Now when I look at the colorful foliage, I get angry that Mouse couldn’t be here to see it. Instead, as someone nicely posted, he will think of Mouse when he looks at the beautiful fall colors. I’ll try to do the same, but it will take effort.

I found this picture from my 40th birthday. It was a surprise party and I remember Mouse was one of the first people I saw when I walked through the door. I was so happy to see him. Mouse made parties more fun. People have spoken and written about his hugs - genuine like he was, and always welcomed. So I’ll leave you with this, and picture yourself in my place, getting a great big Mouse hug.
