I first met "Mrs. Trainer" as a child, when we were often invited to spend lazy summer days floating on a hot inner tube in her pond (algae fights often ensued). I later met her at Planned Parenthood as a young adult (thank you!!!) and also spent some time with her in Oregon where I also lived. Though I did not know Sandy well, she really made an impression on me as a quiet but fierce woman. This is a photo from my 1992 wedding.
