Judy Cox's Album: Wall Photos

Sending my heartfelt condolences to all of Nick’s family.
The tribute to him is wonderful, and Yes(!) Nick did live life fully, and I’m happy that he did so for his entire life.

When I read of pinocle, it was a déjà vu for me: the first time I met Nick at Carol Ann’s place, he taught me how to play this card game. It may have also been the only time I’ve played. He was a clear and patient instructor.

I loved jumping in the backyard pool with all of you, and I believe that was Peter’s first experience with our family gatherings. Lots of energy going ‘round, along with laughs, and tasty food!

Summers later, our son David had the chance to visit (photo below). I loved Nick’s linguine with garlicky clam sauce, and devoured so much of it, that he was willing to serve it up on my next summer visit.

When I think of Nick, I realize that I remember the gleam in his eyes when he smiled.

I so enjoyed catching up with him at Lauren and Nick’s wedding, and can attest that he did show a wonderful flair while dancing. And when we chatted and he told me that he had recently competed on a winter sports relay, as the oldest member of the team and the downhill skier, I was truly impressed! And there was that gleam in his eyes.

I see that happy expression when I think of Nick smiling down on his grandkids.
Love to all of you, Aunt Judy (Cox) and Peter and David
