Brittany Sharnsky's Album: Wall Photos

Lee is gone way too soon. She was a light. I only knew her briefly and her impact on me and others is huge. Lee was the type of person who found out she had to have her uterus removed in her early 30s because she had a softball sized tumor. Did she wallow? Absolutely not. She had a “Goodbye Uterus” party supporting a local queer business and asked friends and family to come and bring pads and tampons for a battered women’s shelter because periods will still happen for vulnerable women. She was big-hearted. She worked for the legal department at H-E-B and at the height of COVID-19 panic buying signed up to do a shift bagging groceries to help out. From where I stand she could find the good in everyone. She was Lisa’s “twin.” The love between those two was familial and ran deep. Losing her feels really unfair. I will do my best to carry her and the lessons she taught me forward. Rest in power and peace, lady. ❤️
