I cannot sort out memories of the three surgeries that each kept me housebound for three months; but Maureen knew, and brought me dinners frequently. In December of 2013 she brought something different . . . she baked an apple pie for me. And as proof of her thoughtfulness and generous nature, she used flour with gluten! How we all will miss our dear friend.
