Cal was receiving Chemotherapy for newly found Colon Cancer and doing well. We received permission from his Oncologist to drive from Sarasota Florida to Portsmouth Virginia to visit our youngest son Cameron and his family before they left for Japan on a 2 year deployment. Cam is a Navy Doctor. Cal had eaten a small dinner and was getting ready for bed when he had chest pains, Cam assisted him until the medical emergency personnel arrived.

We feel blessed that we were with him and he wasn't alone when he passed. Since then we as a family have had many blessings. I have felt your prayers and kind thoughts and I am grateful. My oldest son has arrived here to help me drive home in the next few days.
