For me, Kuya Bert is an old family friend way back in the 60’s at First Baptist Church of Manila. I was a young girl, and he was one of the youth leaders in the church my father pastors. It was here in the US that my family connected with him again. And since then, he has always been a part of Ormeo celebrations and losses. As he leaves us, I see it as another celebration, not here, but in Paradise. Goodbye for now, QBert, see you one day in eternity! The Ormeos love you!!! Say hello to our loved ones up there!
