We'll miss Bill but have many, many fond memories to sustain us. I worked with Bill for several years and remember him as a wonderful lawyer, colleague, friend, mentor, and serious adventurer. Several have mentioned the rafting, and like you, many of my most fun adventures involve Bill and the rafting trips. You can see in the background only some gear required for the trips, and Bill provided nearly all of it, making it possible for many of us to go. I recall one "fond" memory of Bill loading up a huge trailer full of boats and gear, hitching it to his Rave 4 ( I think). We noticed at least 2 tires were completely bald and tried to warn Bill. Instead, as only Bill could, he confidently took off on a 4-5 hour drive to Aspen to get another tire, which turned out to be only slightly less bald. Nevertheless, it lasted 5 more hours to the rivers and a 9 hour trip back - pulling a trailer. I miss him.
