Erich was a truly joyful person and kept seeing beauty and hope even in the midst of his own suffering. He set an example for me with his grateful attitude, no matter what. I will always cherish him as the kind, wise, calm, composed yet fun loving brother-in-law. I could have a conversation about any subject and he had something wise to share. I love you, Erich.
