Services for Willie Lee Miles will be at 11:00am on April 6, 2020 at Garden of Memories Cemetery Alexandria, LA 71302 with the Reverend Frank J. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary. Mr. Willie “Tappy” Miles age 71 of Dillion, South Carolina died at 6:03 p.m. on April 1, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center Alexandria, LA.
Willie Miles retired from the City of Pineville in the Public Works Department. He attended Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Pineville, LA and held many position within the church. Willie Miles was born as military child in Dillon, South Carolina but family later settled in Pineville, Louisiana and now calls it home. He was known for many talents and services such landscaping, construction and assisted in healthcare. He was affectionately known by his love ones as “Tappy” or “Tap”. Tappy was many things to many people but he can be best remember for his storytelling, humor, and lifelong friendships. His favorite pastime was fishing and socializing.
He leaves behind many loved ones to cherish his memory as follow Hilta Lee Miles (Wife), Tappy Miles (Son), Lydian Miles (Daughter), Ironda (Jabar) Cooper (Daughter), Karen Miles (Daughter). Brother Thomas Miles (Marilyn), Sisters Dorthy Simmons, Gloria Abell (Joe), Gladys Smith (Larry) Sharon Jackson (Aaron). Grandchildren Malik Miles, Miayauana Blueford, Khloe A.Miles, and Layla S. Miles.

Due to the COVID 19 we will not be able to accommodate a gathering of more than 10 people so a Virtual Memorial will be set up for all love ones to pay respect to the family. The family thank you for your understanding during this time and appreciate all your calls, prayers, and monetary gifts.
