As another cousin of Wayne's I can echo some of what was already posted. We haven't been in touch much lately, though I did get to meet up with him on a 2015 business trip. It was really the most time I had spent with his family. I truly appreciate the...  more

Wayne was a salt-of-the-earth, grounded, rock-steady man, an excellent Dad, an understated fellow, with a huge heart and huge southern smile that drew everyone in. I'm lucky to have known him as a brother in law for so many years. I will miss his sheepish laugh.

If Wayne liked it, I liked it. If Wayne did it, I did it too. Growing up, Wayne was my hero. I was always just a half step behind, just a little in his shadow and that was a great place to be. Music, cars, fishing, airplanes, tractors, we loved them...  more
