On Sunday, July 11th 2021, Warren Alan Kemble, USMC Veteran, loving brother, father, uncle, and grandfather, passed away at age 66. Warren was a fighter and fought so hard against stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosed 4 years ago at the age of 62, but ultimately, the cancer overcame his body.

Warren was born on April 11th, 1955 in Lafayette, IN to Richard and Mary (Yerion) Kemble. Warren Kemble became a United States Marine on June 17th 1974 and was an active duty soldier in the Marine Corps for 22 years. Serving the Corps in areas of Communications and Radios at Marine Corps bases in North Carolina, California, New York, with his favorite company tours being in Okinawa, Japan. Retiring honorably as a GYSGT in 1996. Warren raised two children, and has three grandchildren.

A few things to know about Warren; Once a Marine, Always a Marine. He was proud, supportive, and he loved hard. Proud to be a Marine, proud to be a brother, proud to be a father, proud to be an uncle, and over the moon proud to be a Grandpa. His family, children, and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Few opportunities were missed for him to talk about his time in the Marine Corps, to brag about his family, or show off pictures of his grandchildren. Warren lived just long enough to know that his grandson, Jeremiah, was officially adopted, they now share a middle name. Outside of the Corps, Warren enjoyed scuba diving, traveling, getting ice cream at the mall with his granddaughter, Chloe, and watching baking shows with his granddaughter, Maya.

Warren was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and his mother, Mary. He is survived by his children; Rachel Kemble and Eric Kemble, his brothers; Lee, Lloyd, Randy, and his sister, Lisa, and his grandchildren; Chloe, Maya, and Jeremiah, and several nieces and nephews. 

MEMORIAL SERVICE

A memorial service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in 2022 when his cremated remains will be laid to rest. Date TBA.
