After Randa & I just got married and landed in NY from the Middle East/Europe, Ginnie was supposed to meet us at the airport while uncle Ban was circling the terminal; Randa (who had never met Ginny before) spotted her (from my description of her) and they immediately hit it off !!! A lovely episode !
On Ginny's & uncle Ban's first visit to Randa & I (as a married couple) in Washington, Ginnie brought their dog Delphi...Randa got nervous being unused to pets....For some reason Delphi disappeared in our back yard and fell into a storm water hole ! Ginny was horrified....but thankfully...a few minutes later....Delphi emerged safely from another storm water hole down the development. A happy ending to a tense episode !

I remember visits with them when I was a small child, but my favorite was the joint 90th Birthday party we threw for my father and Ban when both our families gathered to celebrate. Virginia told the most wonderful stories and we spent hours eating, talking, laughing and remembering so many happy days. Rest in Peace, dear Ginny. less
