Thank you to all who have prayed for and visited Stewart over the past five years as he battled Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Stewart passed peacefully surrounded by family in the early morning hours of his 70th birthday. We want to express our gratitude to the staff at Mirabella Portland for providing Stewart exceptional care in his final years of life. Stewart valued people and would never want anyone to experience what he went through. Therefore, his brain has been donated for neurological research to help find a cure for PSP. Stewart was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, mentor, and leader to many. His kindness, compassion, and love of Oregon Ducks football will be missed, but never forgotten. We are thankful that Stewart is no longer suffering and finally made whole in the arms of his Savior.
