He passed from HCM in his Mom's arms on the morning of April 8, 2019 after a beautiful 16 years of the two being inseparable. His Heart was so big, God chose to take him into His loving arms. Skiba leaves behind Veronika, his loving Mommy, Aden, his adoring Little Brother, and Finch, his loyal Feline Best Friend. Contribute to this lasting memorial by sharing stories, memories, photos, and videos, and donating to out Charity named after our sweet Prince Skiba, whom we affectionately called "Hunny Bee", "The Bee", "Sunny Bee", "Sebs", "The Prince" and "Prince Bee". Our .org will be up and running once we reach our funding goal. Please help us choose one of his nicknames or Given name to call our foundation. We are creating a fund to support senior cats, house homeless senior cats, help provide access to better end of life and emergency care, support research to find a cure for feline HCM, better treatment and finally, provide funds for pet parents in need of assistance. We feel this is the way to best honor Skiba and the many lives he changed with his heart so big. It's one of the leading causes of passing in kitties and veterinary scientists are very much underfunded and ultimately restricted in finding a cure.
