As many of you know, our dear Nonoy Sam suffered a massive stroke while visiting the Philippines in the spring of 2020. Whether it be a coincidence or God's will, Sam fell ill while staying with his only surviving brother Manfred, Jr., wife Merlin, and sons Manfred III, Patrick, and Fritz, who cared for Sam for more than a year. There was a time when things looked grim when Sam first fell ill, but it was his family's love, care, and attention, along with God's providence, that he was able to regain some of his strength, mobility, and of course, his sense of humor. He was recovering so well, that his sudden passing came unexpectedly to all of us. The funds raised here will go towards his funeral and remaining medical expenses. We are forever grateful for your continued support.
