Rose Allen
September 19, 1962 - August 16, 2022
Rosemarie (Rose) Allen, age 59, passed away in the late hour of August 16th surrounded by loves ones. Rose was born in Dearborn, MI on September 19, 1962, daughter of the late Samuel and Maria Bertucci. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Allen and stepdaughter, Charity Allen.
Rose was a loving, caring and most importantly faithful woman. She married the love of her life, Patrick Allen, on September 30th, 1995, and became a mother to stepdaughter, Charity Allen. Never without a smile, Rose was most happy when surrounded by her many friends, family, and of course while listening to (“handsome” man Jon) Bon Jovi.
She touched a multitude of hearts and souls in her short journey through life – and leaves a legacy of love with each encounter she shared. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.
Rose, in addition to her husband and stepdaughter, is survived by her siblings Angela (Mark) Braum, Judith (Ken) Selasky, and Frank (Jeannie) Bertucci. Loving grandmother of Cholenna Philapy, Kendric Philapy, and Sophie Allen. Treasured aunt of Jeffrey (Carly) Selasky, Brian (Angela) Braum, Kristen Selasky, Maria Braum, Dominic Bertucci, Vincent Bertucci, Timothy Braum, Oliver Selasky, Amalia Braum and Mark Braum.
A memorial celebration mass for Rose will be held on Friday, August 18th at the Church of Divine Child, 1055 Silvery Lane in Dearborn. There will be a thirty-minute visitation starting at 12:00 pm, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 12:30 pm.
Additionally, a formal burial will be held at St. Hedwig cemetery located at 23755 Military Rd., Dearborn Heights on Monday, September 19th at 11:00am. This will be followed by a luncheon and further celebration of Rose’s life(Details and location will be available in the coming weeks).
