Rosalie Ann was born to Julia Ann and Daniel Burdette Ellis on November 24th, 1952 in Greenville, Ohio. She cherished her days growing up on the farm with her two sisters, Mary and Susan and her brother John among countless cousins. She often recounted tales of the adventures they shared among the sacred grounds once walked by her ancestors. Rosalie Ann was born to Julia Ann and Daniel Burdette Ellis on November 24th, 1952 in Greenville, Ohio. She cherished her days growing up on the farm with her two sisters, Mary and Susan and her brother John among countless cousins. She often recounted tales of the adventures they shared among the sacred grounds once walked by her ancestors. Years later the family would move to sunny California, the land of movie stars, where Rosalie would eventually make her permanent residence in Redlands, CA.
There she would meet her husband of 44 years, Haroldo Cabrera and begin her lifelong, passionate career in Radiology Technology. Rosalie worked 33 years at Redlands Community Hospital, 6 years at Palm Imaging and 5 years at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda for a grand total of 44 years as a Radiology Technologist specializing in CT/MRI.
She gave birth to two daughters, Sara and Daniela, of whom she was immensely proud. Rosalie was a proud grandmother of three grandchildren - Mila, Roman, and Emma.
Rosalie was fascinated with her heritage, loved writing stories, cooking, and dreamed of traveling the world.
Rosalie passed away in her Redlands home on Friday, May 29th, 2020. She is survived by her husband Harold; her daughter Sara and son-in-law Steve and grandchildren Mila and Roman; her daughter Daniela and son-in-law Michael and grand-daughter Emma; Rosalie’s brother John and niece Ajia; Rosalie’s sister Mary and niece Aliyah and nephew Husain; and nephew Benjamin.
