Ronald Bayne Cook, 63, of Dowell, MD passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

He was born in Washington DC on March 16, 1958, to Richard and Barbra Cook. 

He graduated from Surrattsville High school in 1977. He joined the local 26 Electrical Union right after high school as an apprentice until 1983, where he worked for several companies through the years. He then started his own company in 2003, which he retired from on June 1st, 2021. 

He was an athlete his whole life, played basketball at Shenandoah sports camp as a kid, and then became a counselor there when he got older. He played Tennis and Basketball throughout Junior High and High school. He would go on multiple annual golf trips with his father, brothers, and many friends throughout his life. If he wasn’t playing golf he was watching it on TV. One of his favorite past times was being out on the water in his boat, either fishing or just cruising have a good time. 

Ronald is survived by his two sons Jeremy Cook of Hollywood, MD and John Cook of Georgetown DC, his parents Richard and Barbra Cook of Hollywood Md, His brother Wes Cook of Mechanicville MD, His Brother Richard Cook of Ft. Lauderdale Fl and his Sister Carylon Metzerath of St. Leonard MD. Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his younger brother David Cook and his Older Brother Wayne Cook. 

The Celebration of life will be held on July 17th, 2021. Ronnie’s brother and sister-in-law have been gracious enough to host at their home 29350 Hearts Desire dr Mechanicsville 20659
