He is survived by two daughters, Brittney and Kayla, a son, Ryan, his mother Serafina, and two sisters, Linda and Judy. Bobby is now with his brother Steven in heaven. Bobby was humorous, even in his last hours. He told his social worker he was sorry for being a pain in her ass. These were some of his last words on the day he passed. She said they became friends. Bobby loved fishing, Mustangs, cooking, and being with his family. He lit up whenever talking about his grandkids. He will be missed and we pray he's at peace and no longer in pain.

I will cherish my memories of him teaching me how to cook and writing down his recipes, teaching me to tie my own shoes in the restaurant he once owned, making mud pies for him, fishing together, teaching me how to drive, actually teaching me how to put a bra on, how to be independent, forgiving me when I made mistakes, telling me that family comes first, walking me down the aisle, and loving my children even from far away.
In his last few weeks, he sent us a big box of Portuguese linguica and Chorizo because he knows I can’t find it anywhere we are. He wanted one more good memory of him for us. I still have them in my freezer.
I never did get the chance to make sure he knew he was loved. Genuinely and truly loved. Even after the difficult times and distance. I never got to say goodbye.
