OBITUARY
Richard Leigh Newsome, age 78, of El Dorado Hills and Lake Tahoe, CA, died peacefully on August 29, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. The son of James DuPre Newsome, Sr. and Hildred Merle Coney Newsome, he grew up with his parents and older brother, James DuPre Newsome, Jr. in Jackson, Mississippi, all now deceased.  He pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics at Millsaps College and later a stint in the...  see more
