Pastor Lee served Beacon, Seattle and brought together our natural linkage with Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Synod, , the Church of All Nations, and our HKIS ministries. He will be a cherished memory of my 15 years of working with him as the Pacific Rim was built into the Holy Spirit's Ring of Fire and Love. To God be the glory.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Pastor Lee. I didn’t know him as well as my father did, but he was someone who commanded respect as a pastor and theologian besides being a friend and great personality. He was a blessing to many.
Please let his family know that I am sending condolences in the name of my later father, Re. Luther Engelbrecht, as well as sending my own.
Greetings to anyone else who would have them from me, as well. I can’t say how much I miss being in Asia with.
Blessings house to house,
Ted less

A Tribute
I remember Lee Wing Ching as a person of faith. From the time I first met Pastor Lee when he was just a teen-ager, he was a person of faith. His trust in Jesus as his Lord and Saviour was central to his entire being. He trusted God to bless him in sickness and in health, now and forever. In some of the last messages that he shared on the internet he was very clear: God was calling him home to be eternally with One who loves him.
I remember Lee Wing Ching as a person of great competence. While still in middle school he was the best in his class in English competency. He was an acknowledged leader of the youth group at Saviour Church. He was an excellent teache, administrator, preacher and pastor.
I remember Lee wing Ching as a wonderful personal colleague and friend. He often served me as a very competent interpreter. I will never forget how he translated all my notes and tutored me in giving my lectures when I attempted to teach a course in General Psychology at the Lutheran Seminary at Shatin. My poor Chinese was made just passable only because of his extra effort, patience and competency in assisting me. He also knew how to have fun. One of my very pleasant memories of him is when he was studying in the USA and came to visit us at our home in Michigan. We decided to teach him a simple little game using dice. He got very excited and I can still hear him screaming “A Ha!” when he got the winning roll of the dice.
And now he is at peace and I look forward to when I will join him and all the saints forever in heaven where all will join in one united wonderful eternal hymn of praise.
