Reuben Sanford “Sandy” Ball passed away peacefully on August 9, 2020 in San Diego, California. Born in 1935 to Reuben and Lucile Ball, Sandy and his older sister, Nancy grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. Following his parent’s footsteps, Sandy attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and established many of his lifelong friendships. Born in 1935 to Reuben and Lucile Ball, Sandy and his older sister, Nancy grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. Following his parent’s footsteps, Sandy attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and established many of his lifelong friendships. In Denver, Sandy began his real estate career selling single family homes, later venturing out on his own to find success as a real estate developer in both Colorado and Arizona. Sandy is predeceased by Ardie, his loving wife of 35 years. Sandy and Ardie enjoyed travel and socializing with their large group of friends in Denver and Scottsdale. They liked golf, playing cards and watching sports - especially their beloved Broncos and CU Buffs! Sandy leaves behind 3 sons, David, Jim and Doug, Ardie’s children Brian and Perri, and 7 grand children: Caleigh and Conner (Brian), Elli (Perri), Hayden and Audrey (Jim), Maddy and Lilly (Doug) Sandy will always be remembered as being a very funny man who could enliven any conversation or gathering with his humor and wit. Father, husband, grandfather “Papa”, and lifelong friend, Sandy will be truly missed by those that knew and loved him.
