He was born in Chicago, IL to Remigio Sr. and Kelly Ortiz. He graduated from JC Harmon High School and worked 20 years as a Union Carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly;Mother, Kelly Ortiz and two children, Celeste Ortiz and Lisa Murtha-Ortiz; and three grandchildren, Aaron Mendez, Lindsey Murtha and Lance Murtha. He was preceded in death by his father Remigio Ortiz, sr. The family is asking for privacy at this time, details regarding service will be sent out to immediate family.
