Survivors include his wife, Kimberly;Mother, Kelly Ortiz and two children, Celeste Ortiz and Lisa Murtha-Ortiz; and three grandchildren, Aaron Mendez, Lindsey Murtha and Lance Murtha.
He was preceded in death by his father Remigio Ortiz, sr.
