COMFIRMED Date and time. (Outdoors only due to Covid-19) There will be a short ceremony and burial. Should anyone wish to speak at the graveside, or have anything they'd like to present, please contact Liz at 619-315-1029 (text preferred). My mom loved bright colors and flowers, so clothing in that style will be appropriate and encouraged. No limit to guests because it is outside. Masks are encouraged and hugs are unfortunately not allowed. We plan to have an indoor get together/memorial once Covid-19 is under control, where we can hug as much as we want to!
Giving
The memorial organizer requested donations in honor of Rebecca Russell
FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR
Funeral Expenses.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate towards the headstone and funeral expenses. This is greatly needed and appreciated!
We created a GatheringUs memorial to celebrate the life of Rebecca Russell. Collecting your stories, photos, and memories here will offer us great comfort. As we plan virtual and in person gatherings, we will share details here. Thank you for contributing to this lasting memorial.

She is the one wearing the hat, I am standing next to her in the blue hoodie and wearing tights. My dad, Pierce is the one on the very right with the Nike sweatshirt on. The others in the picture are some family friends of ours. We were unable to pin down the exact year, but have narrowed it down to sometime between 2000 and 2002. less
I don't have that many pictures of me and my Grandma since we lived in different cities for most of my life, but this is a picture of us from when we met for lunch at Mimi's in 2012.

I remember her as being very smart, kind and sweet. She was almost as tall as my dad! I saw Liz and Ed several times when they were little - they were adorable. Becky and I reconnected a few years ago and had some good, deep conversations, catching each other up and sharing about our dad. I wish I had had more time with her. I send my love and prayers to her children, grandchildren and other family members. less
These were among Virgil Elliott’s files, Becky and I had the same father. This picture was taken in Missouri in Edgar’s yard:
From left to right- Virgil Elliott, his father Edgar Elliott, Edgar’s mother Susan Elliott and the baby is Rebecca Elliott.
Welcome all. Please feel free to share your feelings, stories, or memories of Becky. I have so many, but I will most remember her laughter, her love for gardening and flowers/plants, her love and talent for art, and her habit of correcting my grammar!
