Raymond S. Pratt was born on August 17, 1944 to James and Evelyn Pratt. Raymond was born and raised in Philadelphia.
Raymond received his first 12 years of school from the Philadelphia School District system. After graduation, Raymond joined the Army and served 2 years, January 15, 1962 to May 15, 1964. After returning back home, Raymond went back to school. He attended Cheyney University of Pennsylvania for 4 years, then Temple University and received his law degree.
Raymond practice law in New York and Philadelphia.
Raymond loved to play chess. He played chess so much that he would play in tournaments. He even won a championship for playing. Ray also loved to read.
Raymond leaves behind the following to mourn and be comforted by good memories, Sisters: Doris Smith(Gerald Smith), Lorraine Outterbridge(Roy Outterbridge), Linda Wood, Dorrine Pratt, Elaine Jalloh(Ibrahim Jalloh), Brothesrs: Alfred Pratt, Reggie Pratt and Anthony Carpenter(Tonya Carpenter), a special cousin Clifton Corbin, a very special friend Robin Nixon, and a host of family and friends.
