Funny Grandad , Dad, and best friend. We all miss you Phil , you will know that if you can see us. We have all shed tears of joy and laughter. You will never be forgotten as you were one of a kind. You were eccentric and quirky and most of all unique , I only wished you had known that.
Your talent in arts and crafts lives on with me and Jamie. You were a amazing at drawing and painting and looking at your work we can really feel the emotion and often the darkness that was captured in your pieces.
Despite all your burdens and pain you always made me feel welcome when knocking on your door. You still smiled and totally hid the real you from us all. Joking and dancing and making jokes about little men in foil hats sat in the trees!
Your gardening skills were just as great, your gardens were filled with colour and scents bringing in all the birds and insects which you passionately loved. I will miss that, I will miss asking you how to get a cutting, or how to grow something. I will always remember you by the Bishop of Llandaff Dahlia.
You outlived the time the doctors put on your head , that I know you was proud of despite the daily struggles you endured.
Buster misses you mate, like we all do. Of course you know he's happy, cause you knew I wouldn't and could't ever leave him.
I understand mate, you had had enough of this sometimes mundane life, your illness had taking it's toll and you had been fighting for many many years previously. So I would be selfish to wish you back....the way I see it you never left. Your memories will live in my heart till I die and maybe join you. Till that day mate...be at peace and know you were so very special to us all. xxxxx
Update . Hi Vic it's 2020 and the world as we know it is on a worldwide epidemic for the corona 19 virus. "You wouldn't believe it!"
Might see you sooner than expected. x
