Peggy Mirl Wade(Grant), age 74, died on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Rancho Mirage, California.

She was born on October 21, 1945, in Raleigh, Mississippi. She was the only daughter to Minnie Mirl (Huff) and William Henry Grant. At the age of 12, she was called into ministry by the Lord. She graduated in 1963 from Pearl High School and at 18, Peggy left Mississippi for Bible College in Texas.

After graduating bible college, Peggy moved to California. There she pastored a church to reach and serve the community. She formed and pastored many other churches across the United States. Serving the Lord was her deep love and passion, and she prayed for revival to hit many U.S. cities.

In 1981, she married Paul Wade and 2 years later they welcomed a daughter, Melissa Tatiana. She remained in Mississippi until 2004, when she moved back to Palm Springs, California. Wherever Peggy went she witnessed to others. She was a fervent server of Jesus and a light in times of darkness. She is survived by her daughter Melissa, son-in-law Pablo, three grandsons, Nicholas, Tino and Pablo Oliver, and brothers, William Henry (deceased) Jerry and Larry Grant. She will be greatly missed.
