Pearl McCoy Ward passed away peacefully at his home in Lockport, Illinois on February 5th, 2021. Pearl more commonly known as "Coy" or "McCoy" was born on December 23rd, 1941 in Harlan Kentucky, to Pearl and Allena Ward.
McCoy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from January 29th, 1960 until January 28th, 1966.
McCoy met his wife Rosario Ward while working for Western Electric in Cicero, Illinois. They were together for over 50 years. McCoy loved working in his garden, planting trees and picking his fruits and vegetables. He often read books and enjoyed watching his shows.
McCoy is survived by his wife Rosario Ward, and his children, Renee (Ward) Metsker, Anthony Ward, Nina Gonzalez, Teri (Ward) Villarreal, Jason (Ward) Stevens and Justin Ward. McCoy has 6 grandchildren, Jasmine Ferman, Arian Bojdys, Sabrina Villarreal, Julian Villarreal, Marcus Bojdys, and Penelope Villarreal.
McCoy was greeted by his daughter Jeanne (Dede) Ward and his ancestors on February 5th, 2021, when they came for him. He will be missed.
