Paula Jean (Shidaker) Fudge, 73, passed away from natural causes on June 27, 2021.

She is survived by her spouse, John W. Fudge, III; children, Kelly J. Albada-Jelgersma (Laurens), John W. Fudge, IV, and Michael P. Fudge (Gwen); grandchildren, Sofie J. Albada-Jelgersma, Ariana K. Albada-Jelgersma, and Allison J. Fudge; brother, Richard Shidaker (Theresa); and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Elizabeth and Paul Shidaker; her in-laws, John and Dorothy Fudge; and her daughter, Elizabeth A. Fudge.

Paula was born in Arlington, VA on July 26,1947 to Paul B. Shidaker and Elizabeth B. Shidaker (Licht). The family relocated to Xenia, OH, where Paula graduated from Xenia High School, raised her family, and resided for the rest of her life. She attended Miami University in Oxford, OH. Paula taught dance lessons for many years at Sheraton School of Dance in Xenia, OH. She also volunteered at Shawnee Elementary in many roles and was employed in the Xenia School System as a teacher’s assistant. An avid supporter of education, she loved books, art, and children.

Above all, Paula was a warm, loving, and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness, affection and constant support for those around her will be deeply missed.
