She left behind her husband, John; her two cherished sons, Ronin and Ryder; her parents, Paul and Sandy Desormier; her brother and sister-in-law, Paul Jr. and Danielle Desormier; two nieces, Kaitlin and Brianna Desormier; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and countless friends near and far.
Paula was kind and funny and stubborn and smart, and she loved with her whole heart. She was passionate about women's and children's rights, protecting the environment, and photography, and she always wanted to help. She loved her children more than anything, and wanted nothing more than to watch them grow. The world is a dimmer place without her in it.
Flowers may be sent to Autumn Funeral Home in Carson City. If you prefer, we also suggest donations to the Dandy Walker Alliance, which meant so much to Paula.
I am so sorry for your loss. I met Paula many years ago when my son John and Paul were teenagers living in Vallejo.
I went to school with her mom Sandy (many great memories with her). My prayers are with the family.
