OBITUARY

Paul F. Rossbo, our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather (Papa), passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2019. He was 58 years old. Paul was born in Sacramento, California on October 25, 1960. He was raised in West Sacramento by his parents, Joanne and Charles Rossbo, alongside his brother and sisters, Greg, Marcia, Linda, and Suzie. Paul was born in Sacramento, California on October 25, 1960. He was raised in West Sacramento by his parents, Joanne and Charles Rossbo, alongside his brother and sisters, Greg, Marcia, Linda, and Suzie. He attended school locally at Our Lady of Grace, Westmore Oaks, Arlington Oaks, Christian Brothers, and James Marshall High School.
Paul’s life was filled with good times and hard work. He worked for the Sacramento Bee newspaper for over 15 years, prior to that he worked for Safeway, and in the sheet metal trade. Paul loved to enjoy the outdoors, seizing every opportunity to fish, camp, and BBQ with his family and friends. Most people in Paul’s life got to enjoy his wonderful BBQ’s. Anytime he got the chance, Paul would throw together a BBQ presenting a multitude of skillfully cooked items grilled to perfection, served up with a side of laughs and joy. He also had a passion for motorsports that started at a young age. He was a huge fan of Nascar, Motocross, stock car racing, dirt bike riding and the Indy 500.
Paul was a generous and loving person, and while his life was full of hobbies, work, and friends, the most important thing to Paul was his family. He was a loving son, a steadfast brother, a deeply caring uncle, a committed father, and a nurturing grandfather. His daughter and grandchildren were his pride and joy and his number one priority. Paul was always there for anyone in need. He was always there to offer guidance and direction. He always made sure to stop by and visit his mother on a regular basis.
Paul is survived by his daughter Naomi; grandchildren Skylar and Antony; mother, Joanne; brother Greg; step-brother Jim, sisters Linda and Suzie; nephews, Jason, Shane, Cory, Jacob, Joseph, and Joshua; nieces Bridget, Kim, Kristin, Asia, Allysicia, and Erika; grandnieces Addison, Rowan, Aisley, Grace, and grandnephew Brooks. He is preceded in death by his dad, Charles, his sister Marcia, and step-brother Kenny.Paul was loved by so many, he will be deeply missed. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Paul’s life at River Cities Funeral Chapel on October 5, 2019 at 10 AM followed by celebration of life at the family home on Maryland Avenue in West Sacramento.
