Passed away peacefully on September 12, 2019 after a brief, but courageous battle.
Paul was the loving son of the late Tony & Elizabeth (nee Shewchuk) Dzuba. He was the brother of Anthony (Esther) and is now reunited in Heaven with his youngest brother Tim (Marianne). Paul was a loving father to his 3 children Ashley & Lisa (their mother is his late, first wife Kristine) and Joseph (mother Wanda).
One of Paul’s proudest roles in life was being a grandfather. He is survived by his 6 grandchildren Liam, Jaxson, Carter, Hannah, Evan & Leo. Paul is fondly remembered by his nieces & nephews Nicholas, Stephanie, Christopher, Tanja, Oliver and their families. Paul was the great uncle of David Jr, William, Emma, Charlotte & Anna. Paul was especially close with his cousins Rick & Greg Shewchuk of Manitoba, and he will be sadly missed by his many cousin, aunts, uncles & friends.
Paul was proud to be a member of the Toronto Fire Services. He became a firefighter in February 1979 at the age of 24. Paul was proud to serve the city he loved for over 37 years, finally retiring as District Fire Chief.
Family, Friends & Colleagues are welcome to say their final goodbye to Paul at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket (visitation & service details provided on their website). Paul is gone, but certainly not forgotten. He will forever be remembered in our hearts.
