Patrick Raymond Cody

April 23rd, 1973 - June 27th, 2022

Patrick Raymond Cody, 49, of Brownton , MN , passed away on the 27th of June 2022 from heart failure due to complications from a bone infection and resulting surgical procedures on his spinal cord. He was born to parents Ronald Joseph Cody Sr and Sharon Virginia Dumpman, on the 23rd of April 1973 in Minneapolis, MN .

He graduated from West Metro in 1989.

He went on to study Printing at North Hennipen Community College and graduated with Certification.

Patrick met Michel Cody in 1999. They were married on the 6th of June, 2006 in Fort Snelling, MN. Together they raised a blended family of 9 children: Stephany, Corey, Kody, Savannah, Hunter, Austin, Mason, Colton, Grayson as well as grandchildren Avery (Corey), Jayce and Baby due in October (Savannah).

Patrick is survived by his father Ronald Cody Sr, his wife and his brother's Allen and Ronnie. There's also many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and so very many friends that he's left behind.

He was preceded on the final journey home by his mother Sharon Dumpman, his Uncle Miles and Aunt Nylene (maternal) as well as his grandmother Elaine Burke, his grandfather Patrick Cody send Uncle Dan (paternal)

The family has entrusted Dobratz-Hantge with the arrangements. Funeral Services with reception to follow is scheduled for August 13th 2022. Services start at 1 at Oak Heights Church. A reception will follow at the same church.

Patrick left this Earth very suddenly and very unexpectedly at an incredibly young age. Him being 49 the family was not at all prepared for an event like this. We, on behalf of the family, are asking that in lieu of flowers, financial contributions be sent either to this site securely or to the family home to help defer the cost of funeral services as well as headstone. Anything left over will be used to help the family get through this heartbreaking time. We hope to help give them some peace of mind as well as a chance to heal from losing their father and husband.
