Pascual James Lopez (The Watch Man) was born on March 9th, 1954 in Manhattan, NYC. He was raised in Bronx, NY alongside his two brothers and two sisters. He was the oldest of five. Mr. Lopez was a dedicated, hard working man. He was the cornerstone of his family, always the provider, always the protector. He put his family before everything in life, passing down his virtue of family to his two beautiful children.
Mr. Lopez is known as the "Watch Man" having collected hundreds of beautiful watches over the years, each with their own unique story and history. He loved watches, and loved sharing his hobby with anyone who would listen. He loved the NY Yankees, old mafia movies, and chess.
Sadly, Mr. Lopez's watch stopped on June 19th, 2020 following a valiant battle against cancer. He was a true warrior, strong and brave day in and day out. He was and still is our hero. Although most heroes wear capes, our hero wears a watch.
Mr. Lopez leaves behind two brothers: James and Tony. Two sisters: Nancy and Sandra. Two sister-in-laws: Yvette and Heidi. Two nephews: Anthony and Eric. Two beautiful children: Steven and Elizabeth. And above all he leaves behind his forever love, Zoraida "Zory" Perez.
May he rest in peace, and may his legacy live on forever.
"When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind."
