Marie Nicole Vida St. Jean-Amisial passed away November 6, 2021 in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born in Saint-Marc, Haiti to Amalia St. Jean.
Her love for Haiti is only matched by her love for Detroit, Michigan where she attended and graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing with her BSN, Class of 1970.

She became the matriarch of the family, leading the way for her younger sisters after the loss of their beloved brother Abner St. Jean.
She married Vaillant Serge Amisial with whom she had two daughters, Tiffany Nicole Amisial in 1977 and Jessica Lynn Amisial in 1980.
She went on to travel the world as a Traveling Nurse and eventually settled in Miami Springs, Florida to raise her family and work as an ICU/CCU Nurse.
She retired in Myrtle Beach, SC to be near her big sister Yvette Berrouet and in the last years of her life relocated to the SW Florida area.
She had a passion for learning, a love of the arts and loved a good joke.
She was fluent in four languages French, Creole, English and Spanish.
She is survived by her daughters Tiffany Amisial and Jessica Amisial, her sisters Ghislaine Paultre, Enna Duclos (Paultre) and Claudette Paultre, her nephew Ray Berrouet and her nieces, Miriam Berrouet, Caroline Souriac, Erica Michael (Nicholas) and Sara Lauzier (Duclos) and her many and loved great nieces and nephews and very dear friends.
