As a person of faith, I have tried to take consolation in the sovereignty of God - He knows things that we do not and understands what we do not. But still, it is hard.
Daddy, I will remember you fondly. Your gentle voice and presence. Your kindness and calmness. In your home I gained a bonus family. You and mummy gave me the great gift of love and a lifelong friend and sister, Morenike. We are family.
Surely your exit from us is early. There is still so much we wanted to share with you. But my great hope is that you are experiencing all our moments with us from a seat in the sky.

Your warmth, your kindness, your gentleness, your generosity are traits I always admired in you. You always had a smile and I definitely loved your nickname for me. No one else besides you and mommy called my tomi-tomaaaiii. Your home was our second home and we created some of the best memories there.
I was looking forward to seeing you at our next celebration, and I know it would have made you so happy.
We will miss you oh so dearly, daddy. You’ll be in our hearts until we meet again.

I have known Uncle Nat probably for well over 20 years and would forever cherish the fond conversations we had even as a kid, when he’d come by the house to greet us or to check on the dogs. My most fond memories of him are his smile, his laughs and the tone of his voice. To me, he had a very unique, kind and cheerful voice and his positive energy was so contagious. Uncle Nat, your passing is indeed immensely painful and utterly disheartening, but we know that we can’t question God and He knows the end from the beginning, so all I can say is rest well Sir, you are loved and you were indeed a blessing, till we all meet again, rest well❤️ . less
