You will have already received the very sad news about the death of Naomi. What we wanted to do is to capture some thoughts and expressions of our loss and sorrow in a condolence book that will be passed onto Naomi’s husband Lewis and to her wider family.
I am aware that many of you will not have met Naomi but she is represented in all of our existing teams as a person of passion, dedication and genuine care for the disadvantage of the many families that she worked to support. So if you have not met Naomi if you are able to write something that simply reflects the value that you would place or that she represents in your own team and amongst your colleagues across the organisation this would be much appreciated.
Death is always the hardest reality but made much more so through Naomi’s young age and untimely demise. I have no doubt that anything that we can convey will be received with the appreciation that is intended, not because any of us have anything particularly profound to say at a time of loss, but a simple act of kindness in recognition that we as Family Lives have lost one of our own I’m sure will go a long way.
