Kori, not sure if you knew this or not but mom's kindness and talent was given to my cousin in Chicago and she quickly became a "member" of the family. Mom knew about my cousin who was suffering from ALS and was always cold.... your mom had a solution. She asked me what size my cousin was and her favorite color and within a week your mom had knitted a poncho with pompoms to keep her warm and her spirit high. My cousin wore this poncho everyday and was quick to tell everyone about this kind lady in Nashville who made it for her. Oh and she loved those pompoms because she was from the same generation as your mom. Kindness always wins. Moms energy wained later on but she knew - she knew and gave kindness and love to anyone who was around her.
