Mummy, just like yesterday, 30 years ago when I became part of the Fadiora’s family. I remember vividly how it happened. It was June 1990 I came to Lagos for Industrial Training and I was staying a family in Ajao Estate when it was around camp meeting in August I was asked to look for where to stay becuase they will be having campers in their house in August that I can return to their house after camp meeting. Where will I go nowhere, whom can I stay with I know nobody, can I be accommodate on campground? No way.

Someone I cannot remember asked me to tell Oye,  if I can stay with them, lo and behold I told him and he said  “let me tell MUMMY” and that is how I had a home in Lagos all throughout the years before I got married years later.

You are Mother indeed. Word and space will fail me of expressing your LOVE and CARE all over these years.

The present place where I am living in Ikorodu is as a result of this relationship. It is difficult for anyone in the community to know that we are not blood relation; though the blood of Jesus had bonded us together.

There came a fateful day of February 19 2004 when I had fire accident and I was burnt about 50% of my body surface. Where would I run to in the dead of the night with my wife travelled out of Lagos and having little children aged 6 and 4 in was to MUMMY. I was there throughout the night with all the first aid and care and eventually I was moved to Campground in Anthony Village where I stayed for over two ,months.

Where were my children? Who was caring, feeding and catering for them? it was MUMMY, no wonder my children could affectionately and naturally called you GRANMA for indeed you are a mother, no mother could do more than what you have done for me.

You have done excellently and shone all through your stay here giving all you could to humanity. The challenge you left for us remaining especially myself is to be ever ready to give the best assistance we can, to whoever we can help. BYE! BYE!! BYE!!!
