Bonjour
I remember meeting you in Osogbo for the first time after I finished school and getting your candid advice on life. My favorite story of yours is when your car broke down on the expressway and you went to your booth, grabbed your tools, a cold star and proceeded to repair the car displaying your mechanical brilliance. I will miss your open mindedness to political discussions as long as facts were presented.

Dear Otun,
Although you are no longer with us in the physical sense, your memory will live on forever. Your passing has left a void that is hard to fill.
Your sense of humor and love for life were contagious, and we will surely miss those.
You were taken from us far too soon, and it's hard to comprehend why things like this happen. But we take solace in the fact that you lived a life full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections with those around you.
Rest in peace, dear cousin. You will always be remembered and cherished in our hearts.

Just like a candle in the wind, your light dimmed and extinguished without you notifying anyone. We were happily riding on the bus of life together hoping our destination was still some years ahead, but you never let me know you were getting off at bus stop "13/03/2023". You left everybody speechless and asking God "why you?" "Why now?" And more question s, but I know we can not query God. You left a vacuum that can not be filled, I know that there are fathers, brothers, sisters, cousins, friends etc, but none of them is Sola Oyewo, you will be for ever missed. Sleep well my dear OTUN till we meet to part no more. O di gberr o, o da arina ko o tun d'oju ala. Sun're o, ma j'okun ma j'ekolo. Ohun ti won ba nje la ajule orun ni o ba won je. I missed you and I will forever miss you. May God accept your soul. less
