It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Miya May Tierney on June 13th, 2021. Miya was born on March 23, 2019, to parents Jalynn Davis and Joseph Tierney, in Leesburg, Florida.

Miya was a ray of sunshine, she loved Blues Clues, Peppa Pig, her My Little Pony collection and playing piggy back with her big sisters. Most of all, Miya loved playing outside, always on the go our little rough and tumble girl, would spend hours digging away with all her sand pails and shovels, never afraid to get dirty! Whether it was chasing a butterfly or chasing the family dog, Hazy, being one with nature was in her nature. Even though her loss has come too soon, the time we had with her was filled with joy, love and laughter. A precious daughter and sister, her memory will continue to be in our hearts as we mourn her loss. Miya was the absolute light of her parents and sisters lives.  Everyone who loved her worshipped the ground her two little precious feet walked on.

Beloved daughter of Jalynn Davis and Joseph Tierney and the world's  best baby sister to Madison and Juliana. Predeased by her big brother Brandon.
Sorrowfully missed by all who knew her, especially her Nan, Melissa Sawyer, her Auntie Ashley, cousins...Tavaris, Jeremiah and Jordan and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. 

Beyers funeral home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Memorial will be held at the First Baptist Church of Umatilla, 550 Hatfield Drive,  at 3 o'clock pm on Monday, June 21st. The family encourages all who knew Miya to share in a celebration of her life. 

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are requested in kind for funeral costs and life's expenses.
