Then when I was working for Boeing IT in Bellevue and he was working for Verizon many years later, we realized that our buildings were only a couple hundred yards apart so we would meet for lunch at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue once in a while. His favorite topic was his two daughters. He was always so kind and helpful. I will miss his big smile and his empathy for all. less
Thank you to EVERYONE who extended thoughts, prayers, stories, and donations in honor of our dad. We are so thankful for all of you and your kind words and generosity through these difficult times. He was the best and we will miss him so much.
I can’t express how deeply saddened I am to hear of Mike leaving us. Mike was one of the kindest, sweetest, giving, selfless, thoughtful men I’ve ever met. He loved his daughters fiercely!

He would talk about your accomplishments & plans in life. He was so proud of the women you had become. His face would light up when sharing about you. I don’t know what I did to deserve the love he shared towards me & my little business. But I am forever changed by that man! He was a true gem , diamond among men. I hope he was at peace & knew how much he touched those around him. I will miss him so much. I will continue to use his example of what a good human being truly looks like forever.
I love you Mike RIP less

He was an incredible volunteer for Marysville Community Food Bank greeting users of the food bank and creating an inviting environment. He was a master at gaining support of local businesses to assist with the Food Bank’s Holiday Toy Store. And he was so proud of his daughters as they made their ways through their education and into professions. His legacy lives on through them. What a gift he left us. less
I only got to meet and chat with Mike once. We had lunch together at Jeff's in Marysville and talked about our days at East Texas State. I kept up with all his health issues and was hopeful for a wonderful recovery. Sad that he's left us way too soon.... moreI only got to meet and chat with Mike once.
