Although only 24 years old, he affected many people in his lifetime. He was a beloved son, brother, family member and friend. Those who knew Matthew, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Matthew will be missed everyday by his father, Jason; mother, Monica; sisters, Tiffany and Madeline; brother, Jonas; his grandmother, Diane; his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends, and he will be especially missed by his beautiful daughter and one of his proudest accomplishments in life, Kristie. We know Mathew is now with his GiGi and is loved here on Earth as well as in Heaven. Matthew at a very young age developed a passion for fitness and sports. Later in life he became a manager of a health and nutrition store, which he would refer to as his dream job, sharing all of his knowledge with everyone. Matthew was very committed to friendship. Even though he has called many places home, you can be sure to find countless amounts of people that he has connected with, tutored, and helped over the years. Matthew was never short on energy and love for anyone in need of a friend. Since Matthew’s untimely death, there has not been a shortage of kind words, special memories, and love shared by his family and friends. He had an amazing soul, and the best sense of humor. Matthew could make anyone laugh and could always be found dancing and singing. His smile was contagious. Most of all, it was just a pleasure to be in his company. Everyone recalls how free they felt to always be themselves around him and share anything with him. He had a beautiful energy, one that if you met him once, even for a second you would remember him for life. If you knew him well or you had just met him, he always left you thinking. Whether it was about how absolutely handsome, ridiculously loving, or just down right hilarious he was, he definitely left his mark. He will continue to stay with us through memories. Whether it’s a song he sang with or to you, on your way to the gym or that color blue, you all know the one I’m talking about. Every song we sing, we will sing for you. The world is a much lesser place without him.
