On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Mark Eyerman of San Diego, CA, loving father of three children, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 66.
Mark was born on September 3rd, 1953 in Cleveland, OH, the son of James and Alice Eyerman. He grew up in San Diego CA, and then graduated from Santana High School. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. He went on to work as a building designer for 20 years for his own company, then went on to be a Business Analyst for SAIC, San Diego County, and CGI group for 18 years. He retired in 2014. Mark married Jetta Globe, and had three children. Nicole, Steven, and Jennifer. He later divorced and never remarried.
With so much love for those around him, Mark enjoyed many hobbies with family and friends. He shared the joys of camping and traveling (notably road trips) especially with his children. He loved photography, jazz music, singing in a cappella groups, and cars both classic and modern. He was also a frequent volunteer for Newbreak Church as a childcare provider during services. Because his granddaughter Jaina lived a distance from him, he felt that caring for other children her age gave him a connection to her when he couldn't see her.
Mark was preceded in death by his father James Eyerman, and is survived by his mother Alice Eyerman; his brothers Eric Eyerman and Jeff Eyerman; his children Nicole Wojciechowski, Steven Eyerman, and Jennifer Messmer; and his grandchildren Jaina Wojciechowski and Julian Messmer.
He was caring even in his death. As an organ donor he continues to help save lives.
