Marion Eileen Larson, age 91, of Fosston, MN died Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Fosston Essentia Health Living Center.

Marion Eileen (Tangen) Larson was born July 8, 1928 in Fosston, MN to parents Edward and Clara Tangen. Marion was baptized and confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston and was a lifetime member of the church.

Marion attended and graduated from Fosston High School as a member of the class of 1947.

Marion was united in marriage to Lester Larson at Hope Lutheran Church on September 14, 1950. They lived their entire lives in Fosston where they raised their four boys.

Marion worked at the Fosston Municipal Nursing Home for many years as a nurse’s aide. She also worked for the Fosston School District for years as a census taker and at Johnson’s Clothing as a clerk.

She is survived by her four sons, Craig (Judy) Larson of Fosston, Keith (Mary) Larson of Fargo, ND, Kent (Lia) Larson of Ashburn, VA, and Kevin (Deb) Larson of Chisago City, MN. Also surviving are one brother, Glen (Ione) Tangen of Fosston, and one sister, Elaine (Iver) Stone of Ham Lake, MN.

Also mourning the loss of their grandmother are ten grandchildren, Amanda (Andy) Wolhulter, Karl (Adriana), Claire (Anthony) Wehri, Samuel, Abigayle, Garrett, Anna Claire, Breanne, Austin, Brandon, and one great grandchild, Kaden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, twin infant sons, Dale and David, six brothers and two sisters.

Honorary pallbearers will be her ten grandchildren and her great grandson.

Due to the present health crisis in America, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Fosston at a later date.
