She would greet you with a warm and beautiful smile. She loved being around friends and family. Lulu was a girlie girl, so feminine. Shel liked to dress up, fixed her hair in different styles, she would hang scarves and cute objects on her purse, she would decorate her place with lace and flowers. She was creative in beautifying her space. Lulu had many friends and several of them were generous to her. many times, I would notice an article of clothing she wore and she would tell me it was given by a friend or cousin. Lulu was always up for an outing, whether to the beach, th mall, a restaurant, a trip out of state or even out of the country. She treasured vacations with family or friends. Lulu was also serious about her personal and spiritual growth. She was always attending bible studies and other church programs that taught various subjects. Lulu was a faithful Christian. She loved church, serving and worshipping. She served as an usher at Lake Avenue Church for many years. She was always involved In serving opportunities at church or elsewhere. She loved worship. I would occasionally catch her humming a tune of some worship song or christian music. Best of all, she loved sharing the gospel. She was excited to tell me of people she led to the Lord. She inspires me to be a better witness.
Lulu, you may be gone from us and we will surely miss you. But you are very much alive, worshipping God forever.
