FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR
Funeral Expenses & Support the family & Charity donation & Memorial Fund (Scholarship, Dedication, etc.).
If you would like to donate to Lisa’s end of life funds, please feel free to do so here. Any remaining balance will be donated to charity. Children were near and dear to Lisa’s heart and she loved to bake for her grandsons. In honor of that, a donation will be made in her name to Kids’ Meals. Their Mission is to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. Kids’ Meals is a first responder to children age 5 and under facing debilitating hunger due to extreme poverty. Every weekday, year round, volunteers prepare thousands of healthy lunches consisting of a sandwich, nutritious snack, fruit item, and 100% juice or milk. Their vans deliver the meals M-F to children enrolled in our program. We currently serve 46 Greater Houston-area zip codes where the need is critical.

Lisa Renee Pederson, 58, of Beaumont, Texas, passed awaypeacefully at home June 5, 2022.
She was born to Helen Ruth Lord, November 14, 1963, in Beaumont, Texas. Lisa graduated from Forrest Park High School in 1982 and went on to work at and own Lisa’s Little Folks for over 20 years. Mrs. Lisa, as she was affectionally called, was part in caring for countless kids that came through her doors. If you were a “kid” of hers, she loved you unconditionally and forever.
Lisa always aspired to be a grandmother like her Maw Maw. Her fondest childhood memories are being at her Maw Maw’s house baking, surrounded by her cousins, laughing and playing. She was everyone’s favorite cousin, Aunt and soccer mom.
She was married to Dean Thomas Pederson in 2002, and they lived together in Beaumont, Texas for 17 years before she relocated to San Antonio, Texas upon Dean’s passing in the summer of 2019. Dean and Lisa found each other later in life, but were perfectly made for each other. They operated Lisa’s Little Folks together and could be found at the pool or Beach in their down time.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Helen Lord; her sister, Michele Bertrand; her two daughters Tara Nolan and Tori Sheard; and her two beloved grandsons Tavo and Luca Nolan.
Lisa was a devoted woman of God who lived her life selflessly and with an abundance of love for whomever she interacted with. She claimed her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to Tara and Tori, and took immense pride in being Nana to her beautiful grandsons.
Her daughters have chosen to spread Lisa and Dean’s ashes together, with a private Oceanside service at a later date. Please celebrate Lisa’s life in your own way.
she told her daughters every night before bed, “May God bless you and the angels kiss you.”
