Leon Frank Sawn, 79, of Annapolis, MD died peacefully Saturday, April 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Glens Falls, NY, son of the late Harold Clayton and Naomi Mabel Sawn.
Leon, lovingly known as "Tinker", proudly served in the US Navy and the US Army Reserves. He worked as a plant manager in the plastic industry in his early years. He dedicated his later years to non-emergency medical transport services.
He is survived by his four sons, Brian Sawn of Glens Falls, NY; Richard Fortune and wife Patti of Denton, MD; Patrick Sawn of Harftord, NY; and David Fortune and wife Kelly of Annapolis, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alyssa and Drew Fortune both of Annapolis, MD and Zack Higgs of Greensboro, MD.
